ZOE Rescue Walk 2014 Sponsorship

ZOE Rescue Walk 2014

Almost a year ago on Saturday, November 15, 2014, the Rosa Family participated in the Third annual ZOE International Do One Thing rescue walk (ZOE Rescue Walk 2014). I thought it would be a good way for my family and I to engage with a real need in this world. It was a meaningful, well-organized, highly spirited, family-friendly event. We walked through exhibits explaining the plight of the victims of sex trafficking, showing the history of ZOE International, and displays about the living quarters and educational opportunities for rescued children.

Stop Human Trafficking

Some people think they are justified in enslaving children so they can profit from selling them sexually to satisfy the perversions of others. This is an evil that is difficult for me to comprehend. Zoe International is about freedom, healing, and empowerment. Their vital work gives victims of human sex trafficking a doorway to a new life. Zoe International combats this evil in Thailand and Los Angeles. My wife and four children spent an enjoyable morning doing the ZOE Rescue Walk 2014 in the foothills north of Los Angeles connecting with one another in this godly cause. We wrapped up our morning by playing in the park where the event was held. I couldn’t help but reflect on how my children could play freely at this park under our protective supervision while other children that Zoe is seeking to help are locked away in rooms and forced to participate in satisfying the sexual fantasies of perverts. daily facing a nightmarish existence.

If you would like to donate money towards this worthy cause, you can give a tax-deductible donation to Zoe International at www.gozoe.org/donate. This is one way we can make a difference in the life of a child.
